Nextwave is currently working with a leading solar IPP looking to bring on a senior professional with experience originating corporate PPAs across the European renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing market opportunities with major energy users across Europe
• Identifying and responding to tenders for renewable energy from Corporate offtakers.
• Work with legal department, structured finance and other internal stakeholders to negotiate heads of terms & PPA contracts with clients
• Understand developments in the European markets and energy policy and the impact these will have on Power marketing

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working within the energy sector
• Proven track record originating and negotiating PPAs across the European renewables sector
• An in depth understanding of the European energy market for major energy users including detailed understanding supply contract structures inducing sleeving PPAs and energy price risk management.
