NextWave Partners is working with an exciting newly established commodity exchange that is looking to grow their office in Singapore.

For that purpose, they’re looking to hire Trading Operations Manager to:

  • Lead the initial onboarding and maintenance of access rights for customers and the individual users 
  • Coordinate with Clearing Operations Manager and team to ensure proper creation and maintenance of accounts to be used by Trading System Users
  • Coordinate with technical staff on systems integrations for customers
  • Coordinate with 3rd party independent service providers (ISVs) that are providing and operating order management systems for customers
  • Development and maintenance of procedures required for the operation of the exchange
  • Supervisin and execution of all procedural steps required for the operation of the exchange
  • Hire and maintain team to cover shifts across the global trading day
  • Maintenance and supervision of the proper handling of confidential information of customers and users in compliance with all laws, regulations and agreements
  • Creating records and properly maintain them as required by regulation and business requirements
  • Manage customer and user feedback enabling useful communication of business intelligence to management contributing to the continuous goal of improving systems, products and procedures
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the market for next-generation exchanges and continue to refine the overall strategy of the product and business as the technologies and market evolve
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of work experience in an exchange trading operations environment, commodities based would be a plus
  • Ability to work in high intensity environment on a regular basis
  • Available on-call personally or to delegate to capable subordinates around the clock to respond to issues that may require immediate resolution/escalation
  • Experience with Trading and Clearing software solutions, experience with Cinnober systems preferred would be a plus
  • Existing relationships with individuals in the derivatives clearing broker community in Singapore and the broader global energy market
  • Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers, and work with all levels within the organization. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams that do not directly report to you
  • Strong problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, also planning, organizational and presentation skills
