About the Role We are working with a leading developer in the Japan Offshore Sector. They are seeking a Senior / Civil Engineer with strong experience in port engineering to reinforce the port infrastructure that will receive heavy equipment, including wind turbines. The position will be based in Japan and will report to the Project Director.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with port authorities to design and implement infrastructure upgrades to accommodate heavy equipment.
• Conduct structural analysis and design for port reinforcements.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Perform site inspections and quality control checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in port engineering or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of Japanese port regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
