My client is a leading IPP active in the renewable energy sector across the APAC region.
They are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on the development, design and delivery of projects in Japan.

Responsibilities

• Check on any grid capacity and inter-cabling issues
• Conducting regular electrical inspection of projects based on the company safety regulations
• Providing electrical engineering support for project development and due diligence
• Providing support in preparing O&M plans for the electrical engineering of projects
• Providing electrical engineering support the construction and O&M of projects
• Making site visits to support site teams when necessary
• Preparing engineering reports to be submitted to Head Office

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience working on renewable energy projects
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Experience in the Japan energy market
