Title: HV AP (Offshore)

Location: Taiwan

Type: Offshore. 12 months contract


About the Role:

To take responsibility for the safe operation, switching, isolation, and management of high-voltage (HV) systems on offshore wind farms. The HV AP ensures compliance with electrical safety rules and coordinates all HV activities across turbines, substations, and export systems.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform HV switching, isolation, and issue of Safety Documents (e.g. Permits to Work, Sanction for Test) in accordance with Electrical Safety Rules.

  • Operate and maintain HV assets such as offshore substations, inter-array cables, export cables, transformers, and switchgear (33kV, 66kV, 132kV, or higher depending on project).

  • Act as a point of control for HV works, ensuring work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Carry out fault response, HV testing, and commissioning activities.

  • Review and approve method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) for HV works.

  • Supervise and audit third-party HV personnel working under the Electrical Safety Rules.

  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills for HV-related incidents.

  • Ensure compliance with all offshore safety procedures, GWO standards, and statutory regulations

Qualifications:

  • HV Switching training certificate
  • GWO BST
  • Medical Offshore
