About the Role

We are working with an exciting Renewable Energy organisation who are at the forefront of driving sustainable change in the energy landscape. Committed to pioneering renewable energy solutions, they are seeking a passionate and skilled Development Engineer to contribute to their ambitious projects in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project resources to ensure alignment with schedules and forecasts, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and monitor projects from conception to completion with meticulous budget and timeline planning.
  • Ensure conceptual designs support successful power system studies for Solar Farms, Wind Farms, and Battery Energy Storage.
  • Establish effective collaboration with PEP departments, demonstrating efficient task turnaround.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, consultants, and contractors to drive optimal techno-commercial outcomes.
  • Prepare and review standard EPC technical schedules for Solar, Wind, and BESS to support procurement activities.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical or Power Systems.
  • Proven engineering experience in planning, developing, and preferably executing Solar Farms, Wind Farms, Battery Storage Systems, substations, or relevant projects.
  • Experience in pre-feasibility, feasibility, FEED, preliminary and detailed design, and support to construction and commissioning.
  • Experience in hybrid renewable energy projects, preferably wind generation projects.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborative team environments and autonomous work.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective prioritization and deadline management.
