About the Role
We are working with a leading renewable developer who is building an aggressive pipeline of utility scale renewable projects in Japan and are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the development of their projects.

Responsibilities

* Oversee the development of solar projects, encompassing comprehensive reviews of regulatory, environmental, real estate, technical, and interconnection aspects for mega renewable initiatives.
* Perform due diligence and analyze projects involving photovoltaic solar installations on rooftops and ground-mounted setups across different states.
* Generate initial feasibility reports, detailing permit pathways, development budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessments.
* Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, and construction teams to ensure streamlined and compliant progression of solar ventures.
* Supervise consultants and third-party entities to ensure project efficacy.
* Provide assistance in structuring, negotiating, and finalizing land agreements as required.
* Monitor budgets, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for development endeavors.
* Ensure adherence to regulations set forth by prefectural and local governments.
* Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot various issues and achieve successful project commercialization.
* Identify key project constraints related to interconnection and access.
* Review permit applications and associated requirements.
