About the Role

Utilise your development skills to deliver new greenfield renewables projects across Australia's East Coast. Work in an established, supportive and fast paced development team, to deliver new renewables projects within a reputable organisation. As Development Manager, you will identify new sites, determine commercial viability, whilst working closely with senior management to ensure overarching business objectives are achieved. You will be backed by strong funding, forward thinking management and a consistent flow of recent development approvals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and acquired projects, from prospecting through to financial close

  • Work alongside senior decision makers to develop and drive short and long term company strategy

  • Ensure early stage project pipeline is effectively managed, working closely with broader development team to deliver key project milestones.

  • Assess site feasibility

Requirements

  • Recent experience in greenfield development, ideally within solar and battery storage projects. Relevant experience in alternative energy sources will also be considered.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and abilty to foster relationships to develop new business opportunities

  • Knowledge of the renewables sector and associated factors, including: market drivers, environmentals, grid connection, land access ect.

  • Understanding of commercial contributors to the develppment pipeline, including financial/funding arrangements, legal/contracts and financial models.

  • Ideally you will have technical knowledge in solar and battery farm development and construction.
