About the Role

We are working with an exciting renewable energy developer which is now focusing on the offshore wind market in Japan and are seeking a Offshore Wind Project Manager to join their Wind Development Team.


Responsibilities

● Overseeing developers and collaborating with partners

● Selecting an EPC company, and managing procurement and construction

● Managing budgets and costs

● Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, including contract management and handling corporate PPA projects

● Arranging financing and negotiating with banks

● Forming new partnerships to expand renewable energy initiatives

Requirements

● Experience in the offshore wind industry

● Over 5 years of project management experience in large-scale IPP projects

● Strong negotiation and communication skills

● Proficiency in English sufficient for discussing offshore wind power

● For offshore wind power: proficiency in Japanese to understand public tender guidelines for occupancy and to hold discussions in various fields (for non-Japanese nationals)
