About the Role

We are working with a leading offshore developer expanding rapidly in Japan and seeking a Offshore Construction & Installation Manager to join their logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-oriented work, assuming technical responsibility for a specialized area, and provide project management expertise with advice on specific issues.
• Coordinate and drive the development of Offshore Wind Project Transport & Installation Concepts across all installation packages (Foundations, Turbines, Cables) in a collaborative manner.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from various installation disciplines and experts to develop project-specific Transport and Installation concepts, contribute to project construction programs, and prepare tender documents, including specifications, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Possess a positive mindset, self-motivation, and resilience, with a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Hold a degree or equivalent in Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, Marine Logistics, or related fields, with a strong technical understanding to resolve detailed issues and communicate complex technical matters coherently.
• Ability to quantify risks and their impact on budgets, along with intercultural communication skills and the willingness to work offshore and at heights occasionally.
• Fluent in English and Japanese.
• Experience in Offshore Wind Transport and Installation
