About:

M&A Manager will support M&A and investment activities that underpin the company's growth. M&A Manager will responsible for evaluation and execution of investment opportunities in renewable energy sector in Japan across the entire investment lifecycle.

M&A Manager will involve in conducting market and sector research, originating new deals with senior members, building and reviewing proprietary financial models, supporting the negotiation of commercia and legal documentations, arranging debt financing and performance monitoring of the closed investments.

Responsibilities:

* Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of the company's M&A strategy, focusing on opportunities that align with our mission to expand our renewable energy footprint.
* Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential targets, and competitive threats in the renewable energy sector.
* Deal Sourcing: Proactively source, screen, and evaluate potential M&A opportunities and partnerships.

* Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process, coordinating with cross-functional teams (including legal, financial, and technical experts) to assess risks and opportunities of prospective investments.
* Financial Modeling: Develop in-depth proprietary financial models to support deal underwriting efforts.
* Negotiation & Execution: Support the negotiation of commercial and legal documentation with potential sellers, partners, and debt / equity financiers, and manage the execution of transactions.
* Integration Planning: manage the integration plans for acquired investments, ensuring smooth transitions and realization of synergies.
* Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, ideally within the renewable energy sector or related industries.
* Proven track record of successfully executing investment opportunities.
* Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of
valuation techniques and financial metrics. Experience in developing financial
model for renewable energy projects, project finance, or LBO is preferred.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
* Experience of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of Japanese renewable energy industry, technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environments preferred.
* Fluent in Japanese and English
