Title: Legal Manager

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

About the Role:
Our client is an international renewable energy developer with projects across Solar, Battery Energy Storage System, Onshore Wind and backed by one of the largest global infrastructure funds. They're looking for an Operation Director to lead a team and be be responsible for project operation across different renewable projects within the business.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and oversee contracts and legal documentation related to solar project development, construction, and investment activities.
• Offer legal guidance to support the advancement and financing of renewable energy projects within Taiwan.
• Proactively identify and manage legal risks and ensure contractual safeguards are in place for both project-related and operational matters.
• Assist in organizing and facilitating board and shareholder meetings, including preparation of meeting materials and resolutions.
• Maintain and implement internal legal frameworks, including company policies, procedures, and compliance protocols.

Requirements:

• Law degree from an accredited university in Taiwan.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in handling legal contracts and document review.
• Solid understanding of legal and regulatory issues relevant to the renewable energy industry.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to handle legal matters in both Chinese and English contexts.
