Job Title: Head of Project Management
Location: Thailand (with regional travel)
Reports To: CEO / COO
Relocation to Thailand is required if you are not currently based in the country*
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Project Management to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of biogas-to-LNG infrastructure projects across Asia and beyond. This individual will be responsible for building a world-class Project Management Office (PMO) and ensuring that BOOT and EPC projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of biogas upgrading, liquefaction, storage, and distribution infrastructure projects.
- Oversee BOOT and EPC project lifecycles from feasibility, permitting, and engineering through commissioning and handover.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, client specifications, and contractual commitments.
- Establish and lead a high-performance Project Management Office (PMO) to drive consistency in project delivery across multiple geographies.
- Develop and implement scalable systems for progress tracking, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Build and manage a high-performing project team, including project managers, site engineers, and technical coordinators.
- Facilitate coordination between internal teams (engineering, procurement, commercial) and external stakeholders (clients, technology providers, EPC contractors, regulatory agencies).
- Manage project budgets, monitor cash flows, and collaborate with finance teams for accurate forecasting and financial control.
- Implement cost optimization and value engineering strategies to enhance project margins and minimize overruns.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout project development and execution phases.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards across all construction and commissioning activities.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, joint venture partners, and strategic stakeholders during project implementation.
- Provide executive leadership with regular project updates, highlighting key milestones, risks, and required interventions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- At least 15 years of experience in project management in industrial, biogas, LNG, energy, or environmental infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure or utility projects (BOOT/EPC/PPP experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of waste to energy, biogas, ZLD, or resource recovery technologies is a plus.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Asia and other international locations as needed.
