The company hiring is a well know international renewable energy developer with strong financial backing to grow and who has won several BESS projects in recent auction rounds.

About the Role:
The Head of Asset Management is responsible for the overall management and performance of a company's solar and BESS assets, ensuring optimal operations, financial performance, and long-term value. This role involves asset optimization, performance monitoring, risk management, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Asset Optimisation: involves maximizing the performance and profitability of solar & BESS assets through various strategies including predictive maintenance, performance monitoring, and optimization of operations and maintenance (O&M).

• Performance Monitoring: Regularly tracking and analyzing the performance of solar & BESS assets to identify areas for improvement and ensure operating at peak efficiency.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with solar & BESS assets, including operational, financial, and environmental risks.
• Financial Management: Managing the financial aspects of solar & BESS assets, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing long-term plans for the management and optimization of solar & BESS assets, aligning with the overall business strategy.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Stakeholder Management: Communicating with various stakeholders, including internal teams, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Technology Adoption: Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in asset management to improve efficiency and performance.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong technical knowledge of solar & BESS technology and operations.
• Experience in asset management, project management, and operations and maintenance (O&M).
• Financial acumen and understanding of project financing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
