About the Role

You will be placed in our global developer startup client in Solar C&I. As the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization. At first you will be a sole contributor and later will managed your team in the future

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatons.
  • Work closely with our renewable energy division, contributing to the management of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) if possible.
  • Drive process improvements and optimize financial operations for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Create comprehensive financial and commercial reports promptly to facilitate well-informed decision-making.
  • Develop in-depth analyses, including comparisons with budgets and forecasts.
  • Uphold best practices by maintaining the integrity of accounting records.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance procedures and controls to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the finance team and internal business partners to ensure the accurate development and upkeep of budgets and forecasts for the local companies under your purview.
  • Implement and enforce processes for precise data capture to fulfill GST return requirements and related obligations.
  • Manage day-to-day transactions while establishing standardized procedures for newly incorporated companies.
  • Once operational, delegate the everyday management of these new companies to a team member, ensuring they receive proper training and support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on financial management (not project finance or corporate finance).
  • Desire to work in the renewable energy sector, and prior experience in this field would be highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
