Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the construction and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants
  • Management of the EPC process (Engineering, Procurement, Construction):
  • Implementation and evaluation of tenders
  • Negotiations and contract conclusion
  • Contract management with contractors and suppliers
  • Management of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting
  • Supervision of technical aspects such as civil engineering, electrical works, and quality control
  • Management and coordination of schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the project (customers, suppliers, construction teams, etc.)
  • Proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Electrical engineering
  • Native Japanese Speaker
  • Experience in project management of solar power plants or similar large-scale infrastructure projects (preferably 3 years or more)
  • Priority given to those with experience managing EPC projects
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMBOK, or Licensed Engineer under the Construction Business Act are preferred
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities and excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills for managing project progress and timely reporting
  • Ability to effectively manage schedules, budgets, and quality
  • Fluent communication skills in Japanese and English

Salary: Depends on experience
