About the Role

We are working with an exciting renewable energy developer backed by private equity, specializing in the development and execution of solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Australia. Committed to driving the transition to sustainable energy solutions, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of renewable energy projects, including site identification, feasibility studies, permitting, and stakeholder management.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of development applications, ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including land title investigations, environmental assessments, and technical feasibility studies.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, local communities, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business).
• Proven experience in renewable energy project development, specifically in solar, wind, and BESS projects.
• Strong understanding of the Australian renewable energy market, regulatory environment, and permitting processes.
• Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and community relations.
