The Chief Engineer is a key member of the vessels onboard management team.

The Chief Engineer leads the Engineering department to deliver planned maintenance activities and achieve maximum vessel reliability. The department is responsible for providing engineering support, including inspection, maintenance and repairs to ensure the continued operation of a high quality vessel with a focus on risk management, operating efficiency and compliance with regulatory matters.
