About the Role

NextWave are working with a leading offshore wind developer who have a large portfolio of offshore wind projects in various stages across APAC. Due to this activity, they are looking to hire a Director of O&M to lead the O&M strategy and function for the entire company portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a diverse team consisting of managers, engineers, technicians, and support personnel, driving them towards the achievement of divisional objectives.
• Offer guidance, mentorship, and avenues for professional growth to team members, empowering them to enhance their skills and competencies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Manage and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure the seamless delivery of project pipelines.
• Devise and execute maintenance strategies and initiatives for assets in conjunction with the Engineering and Projects teams to ensure reliability, availability, and optimal performance.
• Monitor performance and reliability metrics, analyze data trends, and identify avenues for enhancement.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and leading practices in O&M technology, regulations, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Prior experience setting up the O&M function for at least one offshore wind project
• Due to the interface management responsibilities, fluency in English is essential
• Prior experience managing a project from development through to operations
