About the Role

NextWave is working with a global renewable energy developer who are searching for a Cable Package Manager to lead and deliver the cable package for a major offshore wind farm in the UK. This person will be responsible for commercial and technical management of the package from development through execution.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Cable Package Team, including conducting team meetings, planning resources, and hiring new team members
• Establishing HSE activities within the cable team and among cable contractors
• Supervising the cable supply contractor in collaboration with the cable team
• Attending the monthly progress meetings with the cable supply contractor
• Managing the technical and scheduling interfaces within the cable packages team and coordinating with the foundation, WTG, and ONS packages
• Outlining the documentation flow from the contract stage through to internal review and handover to O&M

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering
• Minimum of ten [10] years of experience in the offshore cable sector
• Minimum of five [5] years of experience with Cable Transportation and Installation on an offshore wind project
• Due to the location of the role, prior experience in the UK would be preferred
• Due to project interface responsibilities, being located in the London area is required
