As Offshore project engineers, your responsibilities encompass overseeing offshore wind projects from inception to completion.
Your pivotal role ensures the seamless execution of these projects, spanning initial planning, design, fabrication, construction, installation, and client handover. Combining technical prowess with project management acumen, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team, facilitating communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop project execution plans aligned with goals and objectives.
  • Supervise technical design constructions, ensuring standards compliance and efficiency optimization.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Review and track in- and external documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate operational, technical, and environmental risks, implementing specific methods with risk analysis.
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Report to the project manager or works manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or civil engineering, preferably in offshore wind, offshore engineering, or maritime infrastructure.
  • Minimum four years of relevant work experience, preferably in the offshore (wind) industry.
  • Experience in supporting projects and managing external engineering and suppliers.
  • Proficient in spoken and written Japanese, with strong communication and social skills.
  • Independent, practical, and creative problem solver, comfortable making decisions and working in a project team.
  • Flexible attitude towards travel and working at project locations.
  • Willing to work 6/4 rotation.
  • 6 month minimum contract, extension likely on strong performance
