My client is an established renewable energy developer who is looking for a project manager to join their team to support new and existing projects in Japan.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

As a project manager you will oversee projects and work as an advisor on technical and contractual issues to developers / owners and financiers of independent power projects (IPP) with particular experience on power purchase agreements (PPA) and EPC contracts.

As a project manager you will have the responsibility for delivering solar energy projects across Japan, drawing upon local resources and from across the global renewable energy team.

Qualifications

• Native Japanese language
• Professional fluency in English
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Japanese Renewable Energy sector
  Previous experience carrying out due diligence of renewable energy projects
• Managed at least 1 renewable energy project from start to finish
