About the Role

Our client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join their dynamic and innovative team, dedicated to driving sustainable energy solutions across Europe.

As a Senior Procurement Manager for Solar Projects in Europe, you'll spearhead the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the successful execution of solar energy initiatives.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring cost-effective, timely procurement while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, fostering strong relationships to secure favourable terms and pricing.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQs, bidding processes, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and align procurement activities accordingly.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives by promoting eco-friendly and socially responsible procurement practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in procurement, ideally within the renewable energy sector or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with European regulations and standards related to solar energy procurement is advantageous.
