About the Role

NextWave is partnered with a UK founded Investment Fund with over $15 billion of assets under management globally. Committed to helping Australia meet its carbon and renewables targets, they're creating an exciting portfolio of assets across Solar, Wind, Storage and other emerging renewable technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and manage complex financial models throughout the investment cycle.
• Carry out detailed financial analysis and due diligence on potential investments to inform decision making.
• Perform detailed market analysis and research to inform senior management and internal decision making to advance the organisations strategic goals.
• Preparation of various materials including investment presentations and reports for senior management and investment committees.
• Carry out market research to identify new investment opportunities.
• Provide detailed risk analysis on prospective investments.
  

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree qualification in related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience. Ideally within the renewable energy sector.
• Demonstratable experience in the preparation and delivery of research and presentations to inform internal decision making and strategy implementation.
• Strong financial modelling capabilities - able to build a financial model from scratch.
• Transaction experience, ideally buyside within the infrastructure sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
