My client is an international renewable energy looking for business development manager for their solar modules across Europe. Experience in sales of Solar Modules in this region is a MUST and speaking of excellent English is necessary due to reporting line.

Responsibility

  • Supporting the development of market analysis and strategy 
  • Managing customer and sales activities for the market 
  • Developing, qualifying and managing a channel partner network 
  • Identifying, prioritizing, cultivating and managing key strategic relationships 
  • Supporting and participating in external facing activities, including customer engagement, pipeline origination and transaction execution 
  • Working with product management and market communications to develop targeted product offerings 
  • Contributing to market/industry assessment and analysis for the market, including competitor and customer assessment, pricing and demand analysis, regulatory, political and policy assessment 
  • Coordinating cross-functional activities, including product management, performance and prediction, communications, quality/reliability and customer service in support of such strategy 
  • Developing collateral to support the education of stakeholders in the market 
  • Negotiating commercial terms and conditions of sale

Experience

  • Professional level of English 
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is a major plus 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to multi-task while keeping attention to detail 
  • Experience in an external facing role, including customer relationship development and management, negotiation and project execution 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as a successful track record as a team player 
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and multi-task a variety of activities including cross-functional interaction at an internal level 
  • Solid technical communication skills (e.g. experience with solar energy, project management) necessary to support customer leads, and support the development of technical proposals 
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, and multi-task across several assignments
