My Client is an investment firm looking to venture into Korea for renewable projects. 

They are an international firm with multiple investment portfolio worldwide and is now looking for a project development manager that has connection in the market to help them kick start their opportunity in Korea.

Responsibilities

Investment

• Looking out for Co-developer (Source for development partners) for Joint Venture
• Sourcing for investment partners in the market for projects

Early Stage Development

• Identify and assess new opportunities in photovoltaic energy, wind energy including for development & investment;
• Assessment of due diligence projects or development opportunities including the selection, appointment and management of renewable projects
• Development of projects planning such as budgeting, resourcing
• Clear guidelines relating to the design and specification, risk management & delivery, budgeting and funding
• Following through projects to ensure no delays which will result in loss of investment

Late Stage Development Projects

• Work together with project developers to identify any remaining development PPA, consents before construction and project financing process
• Work together with project developers, construction team and any other co developers and engineers
• Identifying, tendering and selection of equipment suppliers, EPC and O&M contractors for projects;
• Commercial review and negotiation of term sheets and contracts, including agreements for lease, EPC and O&M agreements
