Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Offshore substation technical manager to join a leading offshore wind developer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage O&M strategy for offshore substation (OSS) and electrical equipment (HV/MV/LV)
• Oversee all O&M activities, including subcontractor supervision
• Lead technical teams, ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to procedures
• Coordinate and manage repairs for defects, damages, and faults
• Ensure all assets comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Review and approve technical proposals from service providers
• Recommend technical and design improvements
• Manage operational risks associated with OSS and electrical equipment

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• HV/MV certification
• Extensive O&M experience in offshore wind, oil & gas, or electrical transmission
• Experience in managing electrical safety rules systems
• Asset integrity management experience in transmission systems, offshore wind substructures, and foundations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Solid understanding of technical issues and their commercial impact
• Proficiency with quality standards, procedures, and regulations
• Tenacious, self-starter with excellent organizational and IT skills
• Experience working in safety-critical environments and establishing HSE culture
