About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Engineering Interface Manager to join our offshore wind project delivery team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing technical interfaces across all engineering packages to ensure seamless integration and delivery of complex offshore wind systems. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, OEMs, and other key stakeholders to drive technical alignment, resolve interface issues, and mitigate risks throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the identification, coordination, and resolution of technical interfaces across major project packages, including:
Wind Turbine Generator (WTG)
Foundations & Substructures
Inter-array and Export Cables
Offshore and Onshore Substations
Installation and Marine Operations
Maintain and manage the Interface Register, ensuring all responsibilities, requirements, and risks are accurately captured and updated.
Facilitate regular interface meetings and workshops, promoting proactive communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
Prepare and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and other interface-related deliverables.
Review and comment on engineering design documents to ensure interface compatibility and technical compliance.
Collaborate with the project planning team to ensure interface activities are aligned with project schedules and milestones.
Identify and manage interface-related risks and changes, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Marine).
Minimum 5+ years of experience in offshore wind, oil & gas, or other large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven track record of interface management or multi-disciplinary coordination in complex engineering environments.
Strong understanding of offshore wind project components and development lifecycle.
Knowledge of relevant international standards and guidelines (e.g., DNV, IEC, ISO).
Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with tools such as Navisworks, COMOS, and Primavera is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. [Japanese or other local language, if applicable.]
