NextWave is working with a global developer in the offshore wind sector who are looking to hire someone to lead the Foundations function for their portfolio of projects worldwide.

• Coordinate and manage all external resources including consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, marine contractors, port authorities, logistics companies and more
• Leading the strategy for the foundation works on all existing and future projects
• Providing the required foundation inputs and documentation for tenders and bids, including risk assessment and risk mitigation measures
• Providing foundation CAPEX figures in collaboration with the procurement team for financial modeling purposes
• Leading all due diligence of foundation technical related matters for M&A projects, providing additional technical support as required
• Leading the foundation RFP process in collaboration with the procurement and technical teams
• Leading the negotiation of package related contracts with suppliers
• Applying cost reduction measures where necessary to ensure competitiveness
• Coordinating the commissioning and operational handover of offshore foundations during the construction phase
• Consistently promoting excellent HSE practices and ensuring these requirements are fully implemented
• Actively working alongside other package teams from a central function and at a project level

• Hold a Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Previous experience delivering a minimum of two offshore wind projects from pre-construction to commercial operations
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in offshore wind energy
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Extensive contract management experience
