A leading Energy organisation in Singapore is looking to hire an experienced Head of Engineering to work within the company’s Operations and Maintenance Division.

Role & Responsibilities

• Developing internal expertise and advising on technical matters such as plant efficiency improvements
• Establishing plant monitoring and testing routines to analyse plant performance
• Managing indirect reporting employees from Planning Team, Reliability Team and Performance Team
• Implementing and managing the CMMS to deliver scheduled, conditioned and unplanned maintenance to achieve targets in KPIs
• Collating and reviewing the annual Engineering budget
• Managing daily and short term maintenance scheduling and planning
• Managing all Engineering procedures for the Planning, Reliability and Efficiency of the power plant
• Managing the performance of all plant and equipment
• Developing and implementing Engineering staff training
• Providing quality input and continuous dialogue with the Asset Management department to improve practices
• Liaising with Insurance teams on Technical matters including site surveying

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized University
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience working in the Maintenance of a power plant
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Previous experience working on CCGT Power Plants
• Experience in managing a team of more than 10 technical staff
