NextWave is working with a global infrastructure fund with more than EUR 10 billion under its management and this role for a Commercial Asset Manager is a critical hire as part of its expansion plans.

The Commercial Asset Manager will manage all aspects of renewable assets, including contractual, financial, commercial, and operational topics, while at the same time identifying the potential for improving performance.

The role has to be based either in Chicago or New York.

Responsibilities

• Commercial/Asset Manager will manage all aspects of performance for a portfolio of renewable assets (large-scale solar facilities) of around 600MW-1 GW.

• Commercial/Asset Manager will manage revenue and OPEX budgets for all projects.

• Commercial/Asset Manager will be an Independent Contributor who will manage multiple remote parties and deal with people from site operations to accounting on the asset management side. 

Requirements

• Commercial/Asset Manager will have 5+ years of asset management experience preferably within renewable energy industries.

• Commercial/Asset Manager will have proven commercial, contractual, and financial skills.

• Commercial/Asset Manager will come from a strong experience of managing solar assets, tax equity, and partnership. The candidate will be a generalist who has an overall view of everything and is able to work independently and provide leadership and guidance to the third parties.
