About the Role

My client is a leading renewable energy IPP focusing on development, construction, and O&M of renewable energy projects across APAC. The firm is currently looking to hire an Associate Engineer in Korea to support through project development and execution.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical due diligence for solar and wind projects
• Support sourcing and screening of projects
• Collaborate with development & projects team, independent engineering consultants for execution of project
• Participate in planning and design of plants during development and EPC phase
• Support layout review, civil works planning etc.
• Review estimation on construction and energy production cost

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience within the energy/power/chemical sector
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any other relevant discipline. Master's an added advantage.
• Prior experience working on renewable energy projects highly advantageous
• Fluency in written & spoken Korean and English, any additional Asian language a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter - able to work independently with minimal supervision
