Our Client is a Private Equity Fund with that has a focus on energy transition and sustainable infrastructure which since 1992 has invested in over 43 companies across a range of industries including technologies like Hydrogen. This is forward thinking emerging technologies focused fund has a sizeable amount of committed capital provided by leading institutional investors to deploy is into global projects and companies in their mandate.

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to support the client's investment, strategy, and development teams in evaluating opportunities across the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, a passion for energy transition development, and a keen interest in market dynamics, financial modeling, and policy impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and policy analysis related to renewable energy and infrastructure (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage, EV networks, grid modernization, hydrogen and wider sustainable infrastructure)
  • Develop and maintain financial models for investment analysis, project evaluation, and scenario planning
  • Analyze data from technical, financial, and operational sources to support decision-making
  • Prepare presentations, investment memos, and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor trends in regulatory environments, energy pricing, and infrastructure markets
  • Support due diligence efforts for project acquisitions or strategic partnerships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Min 3 years of experience in energy, infrastructure, consulting, or finance
  • Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Passion for sustainability, climate impact, and infrastructure development
