NextWave is working with a leading developer of renewable energy projects across the APAC region.

They are looking to hire a Legal Counsel to manage legal matters relating to the company’s business in Korea.

Responsibilities

• Performing various tasks related to legal matters in the company
• Providing advice and guidance on legal matters
• Preparing, reviewing and revising MOUs for asset acquisition, land related contracts, construction related contracts, service agreements with vendors, legal letters, NDAs etc.
• Reviewing contracts and legal documents regularly
• Assisting with documenting and negotiating the financing documents
• Keeping up to date with the regulatory landscape
• Helping the project teams to obtain key permits
• Taking lead responsibility for corporate legal and contract legal matters

Requirements

• Must be an overseas bar-qualified lawyer
• Minimum of 5 years’ of legal training/experience
• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Must possess native level Korean and business level English language skills
• Knowledge of civil law, company law and commercial law
• Knowledge of administrative documentation required for operation of the Company
• Documentation management experience
