Their commitment to offshore wind is evident through projects like the 3.6GW Dogger Bank and 1.1GW Seagreen.

About the role:

The team of 1,000+ professionals operates globally with expertise in all aspects of renewable energy projects. Reporting to the Finance Head this position will play a pivotal role as the global team excels in all stages of renewable projects, employing advanced financial modeling. This expertise guides decisions, especially for offshore wind projects in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models for strategic decisions in offshore wind projects
• Conduct competitor and sensitivity analysis for bidding strategy optimization
• Coordinate external consultants and review their work
• Prepare presentations for communication to the Board and shareholders
• Evaluate investment impact on the company's financial metrics
• Collaborate with internal local and global team in Project Development, Procurement, Engineering, and Energy Markets
• Optimize business case and bidding strategy
• Manage risk, reduce cost, and maximize financial return across project value drivers

Requirements:

• Native Japanese speaker, fluent in English
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient in financial modeling, especially project finance
• Prior experience in infrastructure, energy, or utilities is advantageous
• Familiarity with key drivers, risks, and sensitivities in financial modeling
• Knowledge of financial investment appraisal techniques
• Ability to simplify complex financial issues for presentation
• Consistent delivery of high-quality work in a timely manner
