About the Role
We are working with a leading renewable energy company dedicated to accelerating the transition to a sustainable future. We specialize in the development, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects to identify an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Development Manager to lead the development of utility-scale solar and BESS projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of new utility-scale solar and BESS project opportunities.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and due diligence to determine project viability.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Navigate and manage the permitting process, including local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with government agencies, landowners, and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the development of utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian renewable energy market, regulations, and industry trends.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, from initial concept through to commissioning.
• Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.
