Senior Business Development Manager

A leading solar developer seeks a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to join its growing team. This critical role plays a key part in expanding the company's project pipeline and driving the success of their renewable energy initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification and securing of new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, leveraging industry expertise and strategic thinking to expand the project pipeline and strengthen the company's market position.
• Manage complex renewable energy deals, negotiate contracts with expertise, and oversee the due diligence process to ensure project viability and mitigate risk.
• Oversee the entire project development lifecycle for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals,financial soundness, and clear solutions to overcome challenges.
• Foster strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to drive business growth and project success.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve business development goals, exceeding targets and contributing significantly to the company's revenue generation.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in renewable energy business development or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in identifying, securing, and closing high-value deals in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and a comprehensive understanding of contract structures in the renewable energy industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
• Deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, energy markets, environmental considerations, and regulatory landscape.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and project finance concepts.
• Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
