About the Role

The Principal Consultant will work closely with the Business Directors and South East Asia Team Lead to upscale the Energy & Infrastructure unit throughout the Vietnam and the South East Asia region, with the aim of them becoming a market expert.

We are looking for someone who has the desire to see how far they can push themselves outside of the traditional recruitment career path and have free reign to build their desk.

This is an opportunity to build a recruitment team in Vietnam and be a senior leader in the Vietnamese office through our Land and Expand strategy - helping to represent the brand locally. Eventually you can become a Team Lead and align with Senior Management through equity and profit share in the business. 

Responsibilities

• Grow the NextWave Company Brand and establish your own personal brand as a market-leading consultant in the Renewable Energy field in the Vietnamese region.

• Build a fully sustainable desk within Renewable Energy building on current opportunities and create new relationships.

• Network with and headhunting the world’s top professionals in the industry.

• Develop and nurture a wide client base of Renewable Energy companies in the region.

• Through working with Senior Management, you will formulate and execute a structured business development strategy.

• Conduct client meetings to develop deeper relationships with clients and candidates.

• Elite performance daily; consistently overachieves on invoiced revenue targets, KPIs, creating healthy, sustainable pipelines.

• Able to engage in strategic recruitment conversations with executive-level client contacts to originate multi-placement opportunities.

• Promotes collaboration through generating new business opportunities for the wider NextWave organisation.

• Sets an example across the business of elite best practices (CRM, Business Development, Candidate Management, branding, culture).

• Has the leadership & management skills to train an Associate Recruitment Consultant.

• Actively contributes to the NextWave team by delivering training sessions alongside supporting ‘on the job training’.

Your Profile

• 3 years prior recruitment experience required and preferably in Energy & Infrastructure industries.

• Fluency in English and Vietnamese is a must for the role,

• Entrepreneurially minded and keen to build a micro-business.

• Hard-working and driven to make their mark on the Offshore Wind Sector throughout the region

• Confident, humble, resilient, and an ability to think outside the box.

• Vietnamese citizenship or residency is a must, as we are not able to sponsor visas at this time.
