NextWave Partners is currently working with a leading International Solar PV Developer in their search for a Civil Engineer in Spain.

As part of the Spanish Engineering Team, this position will beresponsible for most elements of technical assessments involved in the calculation and review of civil works related with renewable projects.

Duties and Responsibilities include;

• Calculations and design of the civil and ground works for elements related with renewable energy technologies
• Civil calculation and site surveys reports (geotechnical, topographical, hydrological)
• Geotechnical surveys and assets on the suitability of the foundations and design; review of load calculation reports for mounting structures

It asks for someone with;

• Professional experience in a civil engineer role, on PV/Wind projects.
• Knowledge of Earth works/ground works; hydrological and flooding studies; Topographical surveys.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, capability to estimate earthworks for large scale PV Plants. GIS software (ideally with QGis, ArcGis and Global Mapper)
