​NextWave Partners USA is working with a globally renowned business enterprise, that is an investments and solutions provider across a wide variety of industries. 

The Investment Associate will be responsible for executing new M&A opportunities and managing the current business platform. The Associate will play an instrumental role in financial modeling, conducting business due diligence, and developing value creation opportunities. The role reports to the M&A Head and will be based in New York. 

Responsibilities

• Investment Associate will evaluate potential investment opportunities including creating detailed financial models and valuation analysis, conducting business diligence, assessing industry and competitive dynamics, drafting investment memorandum, coordinating and guiding third party advisors including management consultants, lawyers, and accountants.

• Investment Associate will work with the firm’s business unit and operating companies to evaluate add-on acquisitions and additional platform acquisitions.

• Investment Associate will work collaboratively to develop new investment themes, theses, and putting together corresponding materials to convince senior management.

• Investment Associate will participate in due diligence reviews of potential investments. Support the due diligence discussions including detailed operational, market, and product analysis.

• Investment Associate will provide support to facilitate business operations including participating in budget preparation, monthly update reports, etc.

Requirements

• 3-6 years’ of M&A-focused experience across any industry.

• Strong accounting/financial modeling and analytical skills supported by a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university in business, finance, accounting, or related area or equivalent experience.
