NextWave Partners USA is working with a global renewable energy player which is backed by a leading international private equity fund through its 5 billion$ impact investment platform.
Based in Miami, the Head of Operations, U.S. will oversee the daily operations of the company in the U.S. and will be responsible for the U.S. operations strategy - which includes EPC, O&M and Asset Management strategy for utility-scale Solar, Storage and Wind projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Head of Operations (Renewables) will be responsible for driving the US operations strategy through implementation of business processes and controls, and execute it according to the business plan approved and the subsequent annual budgets.
Head of Operations (Renewables) will provide technical support to the project development teams and M&A teams.
Head of Operations (Renewables) will be responsible for retaining strategic relationships with EPC companies, Independent Engineers, Technical Consultants, O&M and Asset Management companies etc.
Head of Operations (Renewables) will be responsible for ensuring the USA portfolio of projects are timely built according to Capex expectations.
Head of Operations (Renewables) will be responsible for delivering the expected energy production in the USA portfolio, achieving the expected EBITDA results.
Key Requirements:
Head of Operations (Renewables) must have at least 10 years of leadership experience in the Renewable Energy sector managing the operations - EPC, O&M and Asset Management for solar, storage and wind portfolio.
Head of Operations (Renewables) must have a Master's degree in Engineering. MSc/MBA is a plus.
Head of Operations (Renewables) must have a strong understanding of the development process and excellent knowledge of plant design and operation for renewable energy projects.
Head of Operations (Renewables) must have experience dealing with technical authorities, utilities, grid operators, local authorities.
Head of Operations (Renewables) must have demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development as well as understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
