Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our global engineering operations. This role is critical in driving innovation, standardizing engineering practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge environmental solutions across diverse industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership

    • Lead the engineering strategy for water recovery, resource recovery, and waste-to-energy solutions.
    • Oversee R&D and innovation to ensure our solutions remain industry-leading and technically superior.
    • Guide the design and optimization of complex treatment systems (e.g., ZLD, crystallization, biogas digestion).
  • Project Engineering & Execution

    • Oversee engineering execution across BOOT and EPC projects globally.
    • Ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery with high-quality design and performance standards.
    • Collaborate closely with operations, business development, and commercial teams.
  • Team Development & Management

    • Build, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team (process, mechanical, electrical, civil, and automation).
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration with regional offices and subsidiaries (e.g., Lars Enviro in India).
  • Governance & Standards

    • Develop and enforce engineering policies, procedures, and safety standards.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements and sustainability standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Represent engineering in client meetings, partner collaborations, and industry forums.
    • Support the commercial team with technical proposals, system sizing, and techno-economic assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of engineering experience, preferably in water treatment, resource recovery, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Proven leadership in managing global engineering teams and complex industrial projects.
  • Deep understanding of ZLD systems, biogas/anaerobic digestion, crystallization, or solvent recovery technologies is highly preferred.
  • Experience in BOOT or EPC project models is a strong advantage.
  • Strong commercial and operational mindset with the ability to align engineering with business outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as needed.
