Job Description

1. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition for Malaysian operations.

2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances for Malaysian operations

3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

4. Coordinate the preparation of statutory/regulatory reporting

5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance

6. Support month-end and year-end close process together with our accounting service provider

7. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

9. Manages and coordinates with external auditors.

10. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    
    
    

Technical/Specialist Skills and experience

• Experience as an auditor is preferred.

• Proven working experience as a finance manager/financial controller is preferred.

• Experience in preparing and/or reviewing consolidated financial statements under IFRS/MFRS.

• Experience in designing and implementing controls over financial reporting.

• Experience in financial risk management
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall combined accounting, finance and consolidation experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/CA, ACCA, CPA)
