As FSE for this a wind turbine manufacturer, you will be assigned to the onshore wind power division and will be involved in the following tasks; 1. Maintenance/inspection work/monthly/yearly regular inspection work for wind power generation equipment (prescribed inspection work will be carried out based on the maintenance manual)
2. Wind generator repair and improvement work
3. Customer service Regular reporting duties, response to customer technical questions 4. Arrangement and management of external business contractors When outsourcing maintenance work, we cooperate with the site manager to 1) select contractors, 2) place orders, 3) manage progress, and 4) manage operations (lead a series of operations to ensure that maintenance operations proceed smoothly, and manage overall resources). (oversee various aspects such as optimisation) Effectively lead team members from partner companies, etc., and build and maintain a smooth and good cooperative system with related parties. Please note outsourcing companies are not limited to Japanese companies, but also be foreign companies. Through OJT, you will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills as a field service engineer, and in the future you may be assigned to a newly established wind farm as a site manager.
5 years+ experience in a service field that includes both electrical and mechanical knowledge and technology (not only in Wind sector)
High English language level required (work instructions are in English, so proficiency sufficient level to read, write, check sentences, and communicate)
Active efforts to raise issues and make improvements, and the ability to solve problems and implement them.
Appropriate communication skills to build good relationships of trust within a small team and with related parties.
Qualified electrician or chief electrical engineer
Practical experience in machine maintenance, production technology, quality control, etc.
Knowledge and experience of high pressure equipment and special high pressure equipment
Maintenance experience gained from automobiles, ships, aircraft, wind turbines, etc.
Initially you will be supported by a senior employee, to carry out on-site work and administrative work (maintenance/inspection, repair/improvement, etc.) in a team of 2 to 3 people.
