Title: Senior Legal Counsel

Location: Singapore

About the Role:

• Renewable Energy Platform
• Asia jurisdiction

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), lease agreements, supply contracts, and service agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with project development and operations.
• Advise and manage general corporate and commercial matters
• Keep abreast of legislative changes and industry trends that may impact the company's projects and strategies.
• Manage relationships with in country counsels and ensure work is aligned to the organization's objectives

Qualifications:

• 6 years PQE, with proven experience within the renewable energy sector across project development and construction
• Strong experience in negotiating, drafting and executing commercial contracts
• Commercial minded, strong business acumen to understand business goals and strategy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• North Asia and/or South East Asia regional experience will be advantageous.
