Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure project sites, negotiate and manage relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
  • Lead permitting, zoning, and environmental due diligence, coordinating with internal and external teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day project development, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
  • Build partnerships, manage government relations, and drive market expansion and project pipeline in Taiwan.
  • Establish project financing with local/global institutions in coordination with the regional finance team.
  • Lead local team hiring, RFP responses, and collaboration with legal, technical, and business units.
  • Monitor local policies and market trends to inform project strategy and positioning.
  • Represent the company in Taiwan through industry engagement and stakeholder outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the renewable energy or energy transition industry
  • Proven Leadership and Management experience
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills in multicultural environments.
  • Self-starter with resilience, adaptability, and the ability to work independently.
  • Native proficiency in Chinese and business-level English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
