About the Role

NextWave Partners are exclusively engaged with an exciting renewables developer that is growing and looking to add a Manager of Interconnection to their team.

This person will be responsible for the submittal of Interconnection Applications to the various ISOs and TOs. The role is not one that requires deep engineering experience but will have experience managing this process of interconnection for utility-scale generation assets.

Responsibilities

• Submit completed interconnection requests to ISO/TOs
• Manage queue positions through the entire lifecycle of the interconnection queue
• Act as primary liaison between the company and ISOs, TOs, and Utilities
• Maintain schedule/calendar of projects and the timelines for completion
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the interconnection process for various ISOs
• Create and manage processes for the entire team as relates to interconnection of assets

Requirements

• Deep attention to detail
• 3-6 years of experience submitting interconnection applications in US ISO/TOs
• Highly preferred to have FERC and NERC knowledge and deep knowledge of the Renewables Industry
