About the Role
My client is a European renewable energy company looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel to support the development of new projects they have within the region.
Responsibilities
Perform various tasks related to legal matters, providing legal advice and guidance in the company and throughout project development, construction, and operational phase
Lead due diligence reviews on PPA agreements, JV contracts & permits etc.
Provide support in M&A and Project financing of projects
Review tender proposals
Draft and negotiate EPC contracts, operation & maintenance service contracts, asset management agreements etc.
Requirements
Law degree from a recognized university and admitted to a recognized bar
At least 8-12 years' PQE with experience in project finance, M&A, development, EPC and O&M
Renewable energy experience is a must
Strong negotiation skills
