About the Role

​​My client is a leading European renewable energy firm specialising in development and operations of wind and solar projects globally. They are currently looking for a Director of External Affairs in Indonesia to support development efforts within the local market.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation of strategy to bring projects into realisation
• Lead networking activities and bring projects through development to tender and implementation phase
• Support setting out market strategy to propose a business case to the HQ
• Collaborate with local and development team in HQ to present feasibility studies, grid studies and relevant project materials to the relevant authorities
• Act as company representative in all relevant local activities

Requirements

• Good understanding of the local Indonesian renewable energy market and regulations
• Proven track record in securing early-stage development license, land and PPA etc.
• Well-connected with local energy players, relevant governmental bodies and local authorities
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa (spoken & written)
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong presentation and structuring skills
