About the Role
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will play a vital role in leading our client's technological advancements and ensuring that these efforts are in lockstep with the overarching business objectives. This executive will be responsible for driving innovation, enhancing the efficacy of waste-to-fuel processes, and securing the organization's competitive advantage through forward-thinking technological solutions.
Responsibilities
- Craft and administer the technical vision to align with the company's strategic goals.
- Review and enhance technologies related to gasification, anaerobic digestion, and the conversion of biogas and syngas.
- Scout and integrate cutting-edge technologies to secure and expand competitive market positioning.
- Engineer novel technological integrations to scale up the conversion of waste to fuel.
- Clearly communicate technological strategies to stakeholders.
- Spearhead the development of technology solutions, forging pivotal external partnerships.
- Design and oversee technology roadmaps, including capital investment strategies.
- Provide technological leadership to management teams within the company and its projects.
Requirements
- BSc in Engineering or related field, with a decade of experience in technical roles; advanced degree a plus.
- Prior CTO or Senior Technology Officer experience, preferably in refinery, petrochemicals, or biofuels industries.
- Comprehensive expertise in biorefinery process technology and operations.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
